Youth & Family Programs
Congregation Beth Shalom Education Department encompasses the Religious School, Youth Programming, and Adult Education. Our extraordinary team of Jewish educators caters to every age group. Our innovative programs engage Jews and non-Jews ages 0-120. We offer learning opportunities in classrooms, at holiday celebrations, in informal settings, and outside the synagogue.
Come join dozens of teens who are in the 8th-12th in our exciting Midrasha which offers a variety of classes and special programs. These range from community service, text study, Holocaust education, interfaith dialogues, and conversational Hebrew to music and art classes. Learn about Israel, contemporary issues and ethical dilemmas, through films, activities, and lively discussions, debates, projects, cooking, art and guest speakers. Your Midrasha experience will be both meaningful and relevant.
BSTY Youth Group
These are the years during which lifetime friendships are created. The Congregation Beth Shalom Youth Group Programs focus on creating a social and socially conscious environment and complement the more formal education programs offered to our youth. Active participation in CBS Youth Group is an excellent way for your child or teen to develop lasting Jewish friendships, a sense of pride in their Jewish identity and a connection to the CBS community. We offer youth groups for students in 9th through 12th grade. Come create lifelong memories and friendships with BSTY!
